PUKA RAU "KO AU TE TAIAO, KO TE TAIAO KO AU"

N.Z Puka Rau  (Native N.Z Puka tree leaves)

The Puka leaves were and still are used for medicinal purposes, while the tree was used for carving and weapon making. The fruit and the sap makes a strong glue which was traditionally used to attach feathers to weapons and tools.
